OUR THEME FOR THE YEAR

Sunday, Michelle taught her lesson & announced our ward Relief Society theme for this year-



NOW IS THE TIME...

Each month, as a member of the presidency teaches, she will base her thoughts on a new goal, a new gospel principle or value in which we as sisters can focus on together during that month.
It could be something such as,
"Now is the time - to be prepared.....pray......share the gospel......go to the temple......
different teachings we could all possibly improve on together each month as sisters of the 7th ward.

As Michelle introduced the theme, she spoke of change, and mentioned how sometimes change comes with welcoming hearts & other times it comes into our lives uninvited and with much resistance.
Change is something we all experience, whether prayed for, hoped for, or met with much anxiety or possibly sadness.
We are hoping that in the year of 2010, we as sisters can meet the changes in our lives with support from one another, as we rejoice, mourn, or even struggle with the changes that come about.
Happy Changes, Sad, New & Exciting Changes,
they are bound to happen;
This is life.
This is how we learn and how we grow.
We can choose our attitude
and embrace the place we are today, as we grow and CHANGE for the better, little by little, each day, week and month.
So, whatever the changes you have tucked away in the back of your mind, the things that will make you a better you, a stronger you, ingredients to a better, richer life...
