Mid-week R.S. Activity with the Grocery Guru

We had a wonderful turnout Wednesday evening for our R.S. Meeting with the Grocery Guru!

The Guru presented us with all kinds of simple ways to save money on our monthly grocery bill.

Many of us quickly realized we've been paying WAY too much, on a regular basis.

To our surprise he invited ten ladies to accompany him on a guided shopping trip to learn his techniques, first hand!

So, off we went!

And save, we did!

Shopping the store sales with only a few coupons in hand and taking advantage of the store incentives for that week, our groceries which normally would have added up to $109.00, totaled only $38.90!

This is what was actually purchased at that amazing price!
Plus, our store of choice for this little outing (Smiths) was having a free movie ticket promotion, which we took advantage of, as well. So, along with the price, we received, for free, a $12.00 movie ticket to use this month!

The guru not only talked grocery savings, but fantastic ways to save at your favorite regular retail stores! He also mentioned money saving tips on travel and gas in his presentation!

It was a wonderful evening!
